Office of Exclusive Nonemployment

Pay me not to work.

I am accepting proposals for exclusive nonemployment.

You receive no labor. More importantly, neither does your competitor.

Prior incident

A discarded Fourier transform was made stable.

BFFT became a transform library, an alternate scheduling language, and eventually a route toward physically realizable delay-line computation.

Object recovered

An offline image decomposition began operating live.

Cartoon and texture separation was made fast enough to inhabit an OBS video filter rather than remain a paper exercise.

Failed for the right reason

A better linear learned nearly everything except why.

The same parameter budget acquired much greater problem-handling ability and still failed the extrapolation premise that motivated the design.

ACME CORPORATION

Preliminary counterfactual register

ACME currently assumes An irritating question If a competitor directs me Value of nonemployment
Image delivery is already optimized. Why does the codec allocate bits without the structure our eyes preserve? A local optimizer shaped around its actual image distribution. That branch is unavailable to them.
The LM head is a solved projection. What if starvation belongs to backward geometry rather than forward rank? A same-budget decoder whose Jacobian orientation changes with context. That investigation is withheld.
