What is truth?

One instrument measures how well a claim is supported. Another maps how knowing itself can be bounded.

Claim
Measured by access, corroboration, and stability
Knowledge
Mapped as nested depths around an immediate threshold

Put a claim under load

The dial measures support, not truth itself. A weak reading means the claim is unsettled here; it does not make the claim false.

What kind of claim is it?

Empirical claims ask whether observation can be repeated and independently checked.

Claim support gauge A semicircular gauge from unsupported through open and supported to the limiting corner. UNSUPPORTED OPEN SUPPORTED

Supported

70 / 100

The available support converges, with room for stronger independent checks.

The three conditions combine geometrically: one missing condition pulls the whole reading down. No strong axis can average away a zero.

A local radar for epistemic depth

The structure is nested, not a ranking of subjects. Possibility is the outer condition. Eleven depths run inward. Immediacy is a threshold between Recognition and Knowing—not another depth and not the center.

Immediacy

The thing is directly present before reflective knowing takes it as an object.

What the rings mean

Moving inward does not mean becoming more important, more valuable, or more true. It means that more of the relation between a thing and its knowing has been bounded. The outer reaches concern whether knowing can arise, vanish, return, or be recognized. The inner reaches concern what is known, how firmly, how completely, on what grounds, and across what surrounding field.

Totality is the innermost limiting case: the thing is known in its entirety. Metacompletion is different. It reaches beyond the thing under examination into knowledge of other things, placing the completed account within a wider known field.
